Viva Con Agua De Sankt Pauli
Since 2005, the initiative Viva con Agua de Sankt Pauli e.V. secures humans access to clean drinking water, Their target is to support projects in developing countries, which are improving sanitation, protecting the environment and preventing the polution of water.
VCA understands itself as an open network and platform for proactive handling in the development aid.
The foundation was launched by the former FC St.Pauli professional Benjamin Adrion and is organizing different cultural and sporty events. With charity events such as concerts, parties, readings, exhibition and football-games VCA is creating awareness for the worldwide difficulty of drinking water. The proceeds of events are used for projects, whose are realized in cooperation with the Welthungerhilfe (WHH).
Viva con Agua and the WHH
Since 2005 VCA and the WHH are cooperating and with ist long expertise in development aid the WHH is ensuring lasting success of the projects.
VCA realized nine projects so far and enable access to clean drinking water for about 50.000 people worldwide.
