This adjustment has become necessary in order to meet constantly growing administrative requirements.

Mr. Henk Fischer will begin employment as the third executive officcer at Vartan on 1.March 2009.

After more years of Single Aisle Support the Bucher Leitbau AG has expressed its confidence in the Long Range Area and has assigned us already in 2008 the Product Support for their new A330 project with Swiss Airlines. Now, the completion of the first A330 airplane is imminent.

Vartan Product Support China is carrying out initial personnel talks for recruitment of local support mechanics. So far support has been provided solely by employees from the Hamburg operation.

In the past weeks Ms. Ada Zhao was our guest at our head office in Hamburg. Beginning 1. March 2009 she will be in charge of our field office in Tianjin as Office Manager.

In the past year we have been acquired additional OEM’s as clients. In so doing the list (Vartan & Global) of the commissioned OEM’s comprises more than 20 names of the interior branch. Recent additions include Singapore Jamco and Diethelm Keller Aviation.

As has happened often in the past months, Vartan Product Support GmbH employees are currently involved in production at authorized OEM’s. Our team has already worked in Hamburg Finkenwerder, Fällanden (Switzerland) and is currently working in Hamburg Niendorf.

For several weeks a Vartan Product Support team has been supporting the cabin furnishers of Jet Aviation in Basel.
Due to their many-sided experience in cabin furnishing at Jet Aviation employees are directly involved in the production of high grade VIP furniture.

On 15.Nov.2008 a 98.9% cpmpliance with the requirements of the EN9100 was assessed by the first Surveillance Audit of Germanischen Lloyd. The current results of the audit can be seen in IAQG’s OASIS data bank.
